I’ve been taking photos and making videos since my dad gave me a digital camera the first time I visited my home country of Romania, 5 years after I had moved at the age of 8. The camera felt like freedom was handed to me. All of the sudden, all of my time warped into endless hours conceptualizing silly videos with friends and uploading them to YouTube. I never processed any of that at the time, it was simply fun. Regardless, a seed was planted and years down the line I found myself enchanted by cinema: watching movies and learning about filmmakers and their journeys. Until I eventually felt called to make a film and so on. Along the way I started doing film photography and it enriched the way that I treated images. It’s now been about a decade of creating, learning and experimenting with different photography and filmmaking formats, both film and digital, and I feel called to share my vision with others; to collaborate and to help crystalize moments and bring ideas to fruition.

I feel every moment holds great power and I approach each image with that in my heart. We are documenting our history and every project and idea deserves to have an endless quality. I’d like to bring this mindset to every project I take on, and to deliver work that people can cherish and look back on forever.
